"Free Guy" ... 9/10

This is one of the more fun movies I have seen of late. Really enjoyed the premise and the story. Of course cannot fault the ending!

"The Suicide Squad" ... 10/10

This is a perfect movie to end the week if you like of action, blowing up things and people, and just plain mayhem! A great cast and a fun storyline. Does not require too much thought which is great at the end of a long week!

On netflix..."No one gets out alive"

4/10 soooo dumb & no explanation. a few jump scares but the ending was SO pathetic, i felt ripped off. do not recommend.

"Candyman" 8/10 enjoyed this, good story & effects.

Since the 2021 version of Dune is coming out, ( in Theatres October 22 ) I just had to familiarize myself with the 1984 original version again. I never really liked the film back then, DH sort of did but watching it again just now i got to laugh at all the actors who were a part of it back then.

Then, I see that creepy little sister of Kyle McLaughlin's character and I just had to search out where is she now? Turns out I've watched her on the tv screen many times, just never knew it. Alicia Witt is multi talented and funny. Singer, songwriter as well as actress.

Catch her performance in the end of Dune....ff to time stamp 53 second mark.




Then next post I'll put up one of her playing the piano.

yes!! We enjoyed Venom Let There Be Carnage yesterday at Cineplex. First time we had to show our POV papers.
We have no cell phones, so just showed the printed papers from MOH along with ID.

I will rate this movie 8/10 only because I felt there could have been more dialogue that was not so garbled and a little less of the smash and grab type action. It's funny enough, but not top notch for me.

Not old 😡 . I wanted to rent it yesterday but they don’t have it available to rent. I could buy it digitally for 25$ But not rent it… I guess I’ll wait a few more months until it’s free on the movie network or something.

We were sent a free digital download from Cineplex, but every time I've logged in to use the code to book Black Widow, it says " not available to use on certain new release films ".
We are still waiting for it to come off of the popular list.

Just watched Spectre again since No Time To Die is apparently based heavily around knowing the ins and outs of Spectre.
Definitely one of his worst. LOL
5/10 but now I have the knowledge!! LOL

the movie is Old by M. Night Shyamalan. It was supposed to be released on DVD Tuesday which is usually when digital rentals become available through the cable box. They released the digital movie but only to buy. I wanted to see it but not enough to go to the theatre and it wasn’t available for home premiere so I was fine to wait but now it’s just annoying. The preview looks good, a family goes to the beach and ages rapidly.

OH!!! Now I remember the previews of it, yes it looked intriguing. Apparently came to theatres in July 2021, but we were not willing to venture out to theatres back then. Now I wanna watch it too! ha ha

DH and I watched The Guilty starring Jake Gyllenhaal on Netflix.....I will say it is a great performance on his part but....just how many scenes and l-o-n-g stretches of him pleading with an unseen caller can we tolerate?! I rate this film 7/10 because of that.

@francine1985 my 18 yr old son saw this in theatres and he did not like it, he said it was so disturbing and based on what he shared I could see why it would freak him out. But this is also the one that does not like horror movies.

After Life of the Party 10/10.
Cosmic Sin with Bruce Wills. 2 out of 10. Horrible! I couldnt even finish it.
