After painfully trying to sew on my Grandmother's Singer peddle machine as I call it I finally found unbelievable deal.

For $75.00 I bought at a yard sale a Husqvarna sewing machine and the accessories with all the bells and whistles. (computerized) Works like a charm.
Included in this deal were:
material
thread and bobbins galore
pinking shears and 4 more pairs of scissors
11 storage contains with miscellaneous item such as buttons, pins, elastic, seam binding, iron on interfacing, patterns etc.
2 cardboard lay outs for cutting material
iron presses for points etc.
& anything else I could possibly need to get back to sewing again except a seam ripper. This lady must not have needed one
but I do once in awhile.

That is SO awesome!
My machine is also one I picked up at a yard sale - like about 18 years ago. It's a Singer, came with the desk and all sorts of goodies, for $50 then, it was a real lifesaver. I'm no great sewer, but I am okay with very basics, so it was very helpful. Still works like a great!

Nice inclusive package buy! There are no tools inside the accessory case?
To the SCer with a Pfaff--I have used a friend's machine and find it hard to believe there is a needle up/down button. I'm so used to manually rotating the handwheel to put a needle down. Side bobbin insertion...I have messed up the process twice and created thread jams.
Janome machines are more straight-forward to use.
