Thread: My "Start The Car!!!" moment at Home Depot!

    DH and I went to our local Home Depot for blinds and to price out a few other things. As we were leaving we hear that today is the last day for their appliance sale. We had been talking about replacing our dishwasher ( which sounds like a jet taking off in the kitchen), so we stopped into the appliance section. We were looking for the cheapest stainless steal dishwasher we could find, that had the stainless inside, which is what makes it quiet, so we found one that was on for $598. Not a bad price, it was regular 7 something. Then i noticed one that was kinda off to the side with a sign that said it was the last one in stock. It was also priced at $598 but the fella said they could take another $50 off. Cool, sold! So as we were paying, i thought the total sounded low, as we had payed for our custom blinds too. I checked the receipt and that dishwasher rang up at $347 and they still took another $50 off!!! i thought DH was going to faint! So basically we got our blinds and dishwasher for less than what the dishwasher would have originally cost us! So happy, made our day!! Thank you HD!!!!

    That's super awesome! Dishwashers are a great invention! I wish we used ours at home more often, but for some strange reason my Dad actually like doing them in the sink...weird! That price is amazing!!!
