@slradcli and @meena1
The best use of points coupons is to buy the cheapest product and try to combine it with manufacturer coupons if tgere are any available.
Even if you dont like that product, if you are going to make money in terms of points on that product and your pocket allows it, i would say go for it and give that product to someone else in need.

Just a follow up to my post about my last visit to my local SDM.
I was missing a personalized coupon on my transaction. If you are missing points, they will check your receipt to see if you received it and award it accordingly. If the $x off is missing, they would award you points based on what they consider an equivalent value.

Stupid question about this week's personalized coupons and i should know this but I don't often use the points coupons that are awarded at a later date.
So if it says "to be awarded by the 14th day of the following month", does that mean that I will get the points this month? or next month? (Feb 14th or March 14th?)

Went to Shoppers today to answer my own question regarding the Listerine 3400 points offer (limit of 4). Because I'm so new to this program I'm not sure how I did points wise.
I bought 2 travel size listerine bottles - 2.49 x 2 = $4.98 = 3400 points (so the points were a one time deal)
$1.30 for dozen eggs
$1.50 off household cleaner. I bought Dawn dish soap - $1.99 - $1.50 = .49
1500 points for Cosmetic pads - Bought Quo at $2.29 but rang up at 1.79 (I guess they were on sale)
Bag of chips $1.49 (forgot lunch at home today)
1000 points if I spent $10
Subtotal was exactly $10.05 plus tax.
Earned 6000 points.
I'm not sure but did I do okay with points earned today?

you did super fantastic! Hold off until you have 95000 points, then it's worth $170. Better yet - wait for a bonus redemption and get $200-220! (best redemption is when they have spend 95k get 30k points back. $170 for 65k points is awesome... but rare!) It's super easy to rack up those points with a little effort Good luck!
