I am tempted to use them today with my $20 off when you spend $75, just not sure if the big points on your transaction coupon will work since I would be getting 20x the points on this transaction anyway...advice, anyone?

I used my personal offer of 16,000 pts wus $60 on cosmetics with the current 20x cosmetics promo. The cashier told me I didn't have to use the coupon since I was already getting 20x the points, but I asked her to try and scan it anyway. She was very impressed that I got all the points, lol.

However, if your coupon states that the bonus pts are to be added at a later date...you might not get them.

thats what i did today... i spent over $75 in cosmetics plus $20-ish other items and used save $20 when you spend $60.. plus all the personalized cosmetic beauty coupons... those went through ok, and *fingers crossed* i get my 15000 BP added later. after all that the system still showed that i was spending 86.xx in cosmetics so hopefully the points get added.. the coupon scanned ok.

Ugh. I really wanted a 20.00 off coupon this week so I could use it with 20X on beauty. No such luck. I got three offers this week. One for Monday, one for Weds, and one for Friday. All three are the same 3000pts wus 10.00 on snacks. It's great! All three will get used but I was hoping for that 20 wus spend 60.

Also got a 8000 wus 40.00 on anything in the mail yesterday.

I just got my first a couple of weeks ago and I started all this point collecting last May. I did two big redemptions at Xmas. I have no idea if that has anything to do with it.

vw_girl, I registered to get email coupons and that was all I got for about a year. Then I started to get snail mail coupons.

I don't know if anything specific triggered them, but at the time they started, I had not been to Shoppers (or used any email coupons) for about a month because of vacation and various other things...so it is possible that they started sending me snail mail coupons to entice me back in to the store.

Coincidentally, it was also just when my points balance got above 100,000 points - I was holding off on doing redemptions because I was waiting for fall/Christmas. So maybe they thought I was a "serious" points collector and figured I would go for the offers.

It might have been one of these two things that started them coming for me. But now when I get them I always make sure to use at least one or two in the bunch, to ensure they keep coming. Just like I make sure to use some of the email coupons at least once or twice a month. (Which isn't hard to do, I usually use some of those each week.)

chjo, with the $ off and bogo email coupons I've found they often work if you buy multiples in one purchase. Example: I had a bogo for Halls lozenges, I bought 6 in one purchase with the coupon and paid for 3, got 3 free. I also had a $1 off cookies coupon so I bought two bags at the same time and got $1 off each bag.

This doesn't always work, but often it will, so if it's something you need multiples of, it might be worth trying. And it is within the rules, because you are only using the coupon once, in one transaction.

as amira knows....I am not a SDM fan. That never stops them from sending me offers ( printable coupons ) and just now another one came in my email. It is save $20.00 wys $60.00, but only to be used on March 20th?? There are just not enough products that I use from SDM to justify loading up the cart with $60.00. sigh.......
