I have to share this. We just sold our Thule (roof car carrier) for 200.00 best part is we bought it for 200.00 last spring. Sadly we had to buy a new one as this one was too long for the new SUV, but woohoo.

Wow!!! You guys both did so amazing! Things have still been slow for us but to be honest I got fed up with reposting the ads and dealing with people who annoy the ever loving .... out of me, I'm sure you all know what I mean. So I've decided to take a break. If someone wants something from the ads that are still there then great, if not, I'm not sweating it as I need some time to regain my patience.

Most of it is my DH and we don’t try to sell stuff unless it’s a big ticket (over 50 bucks) item. Yesterday he sold an older bike (100.00) of his as he wants a new every day bike. We both have road bikes but they are not designed for riding with the kids. I need to post a Chuckie Halloween costume and some ski/skates stuff so it will be the smaller stuff for me.

I don't normally sell much on kijiji but I do trade coupons locally with people in my city. Last year I saved almost $300 in groceries from trading coupons with others. The SUTP book is awesome for trading because it has hundreds of coupons and covers a wide range of industries (not just restaurants and groceries)

I find that most people meet up in public places to sell.

Sold a Hamilton Beach toaster oven for $10
Set of LG home theater speakers for $50

Posted a bunch of ads but people seem to love to say "I WANT THAT" and then never reply when I ask them when would work for them, or say they want to come but never show up.

    Oh well :/
