How much does your cat weigh?

I was totally surprized yesteday when we weighed our cats!

Vader is the tuxedo cat on the left; I totally thought she was much heavier than Taffy.

Vader is very 'womanly' shaped, solidly built - when you hold her, she seems heavy.
Taffy is a bigger cat, like Ragdolls are (she's a mix), but she's very dainty.

Vader is two years old and is Taffy's daughter; Taffy is almost seven years old.

They both weigh the same: 6.8 pounds.

Thankfully, they are both healthy and have great appetites. They eat mostly dry, a can of wet between them maybe once every two weeks. Very few table scraps - Taffy is a piggy with chicken especially; Vader doesn't really like anything but cat fod.

Apollo weighed 7.0 kilos at his last weigh in. He's a solidly built Maine Coon. The vet told me that this is a good weight for him. Don't know if I'll be able to keep him there as he's eating me out of house and home after recovering from his pancreatitis.

Hamlet is our baby, born sometime in October 2012. He weighed 12 lbs on the nose at his last checkup in April 2014. Claudius who we estimate was born in Jan 2008 weighed 12 1/2 lbs on his last checkup in 2013, We used to think Claudius was a " big boy " until we watched Hamlet grow up and out!

Awwwwwwwwwww. I use to have a cat and she pass at 16 year old and she was my best friend. Now we have 2 dogs but I still want a cat, maybe not soon but in my future I see a cat in my life.

Quincy cat is a big boy, 13lbs when he's at a healthy weight, 15lbs when he's being spoiled at the land of treat dispensers. He's quite solid, almost all muscle, and can still jump up high to catch his favourite treat - peas. Yes, peas. Did I mention Quincy is insane???

My cat Tank hovers at around 9lbs. The lowest she's gotten is around 8.4-ish pounds, when she was really sick and had to be hand fed.
Thankfully shes recovered and is back to her normal weight and is healthy!

She gets dry food and a third can of wet everyday.
