Generally, I'm definitely more of a salty snacker than a sweet one.
I go through phases, too - sometimes it's all about potato chips, other times it's popcorn.
Or, it can just be soda crackers - so it's not about the calories, it's about the salt hit, lol.
I eat sweets or baked goods way less - don't often have the urge for them.
Mind you, what made me think of this that it's 2 p.m., I had a bowl of soup four hours ago, and I just had a small piece of chocolate cake, a bite of poppyseed strudel, and a small freshly baked peach triangle strudel - the latter of which I just baked.
I probably should have just had a sandwich, because I was hungry. It's unusual for me to have baked stuff in the aft.

I am for sure a late night snacker and I prefer salty snacks. One of my favorites is plain chips and Philly onion dip. YUM!
I will eat the sweets as well but I prefer the salty snacks.

I think I'm seriously addicted to Bits and Bites, regular flavour (lots of garlic).

I like my salty foods/snacks over sweet ones!
I like baking sweets, but will only eat a bite or two.
Right now I'm eating salad with ranch dressing. It's more of a pre-dinner snack? lol

I started over today on my healthy eating plan. But lucky for me, we went out and picked about ten pounds of strawberries this morning, so that's been my go-to snack!
I used to like sweets a lot more when I was younger, now I'm pickier about what I eat, decide whether it's worth the calories, etc. For example, instead of having a bowl of ice cream, I would rather have another piece of chicken!

10 a.m. - apple danish. Wow, it's been ages since I had a pastry, and it was awesome - from Safeway.

It's a couple hours after supper, I just had the last little Babybel cheese.
My initial thought was to just, er, cut the cheese (no, not like THAT!). I love cheese, but eat too much of it, and 'light cheese isn't worth it to me. I'm thinking now I can't entirely remove it out of my diet, have to have SOME cheese. Just have to pre-measure it.

La Mole Sfornatini Breadstisks
Nuts (especially almonds and walnuts) (all of them raw, not salty, not fried, not with spices)
From sweets:
dried apricots (only dried ones remind me a taste of real apricots from my childhood)
And, of course, chocolate covered almondLast edited by Mia; Wed, Jul 16th, 2014 at 11:50 PM.

DH is trying to be supportive and snack properly too. I measured out some Boursin for him (super tasty cheese spread) and five Triscuits at 20 calories each. He's also having a bowl of popcorn, with just a bit of butter/salt.
