I got my FREE Baby back, Baby back, Baby back Ribs!!!

So I saw the other day that WM had some really great looking baby back ribs, but with no coupon binder, I couldn't possibly get them. Today I headed back to WM to pick up some spinach, and did a little snooping . I got 2 packages of the baby back ribs, 1 bag of organic spinach, 1 small bunch of bananas and 1 pkg of my favorite Hot Tamales and 24 pkgs of Vicks throat lozenges. Total price .86 including tax My receipt blew away out of the bag but I got my pic and my FREE ribs for dinner tonight! A great day that started off with checking the mail and getting 4 FPC's for my favorite produce (obviously I used 1 )

Breakdown was 2 pkg ribs $12.00 ea
1 Hot Tamales 1.00
1 Bunch banana .79(-.50 coupons )
1 Pkg spinach 3.49 (FPC)
24 Pkg Vicks lozenges .98 (2.00 coupon) Profit of $1.02 per package

grand total OOP .86 cents

PLEASE, DON'T RUN OUT AND CLEAR THE SHELVES JUST TO MAKE MONEY.....PLEASE. Otherwise I wont share my money makers again

I mad $1.02 for each package of Vick's throat drops that I purchased and since I purchased 24 packages, I made $24.48 So I used that money to purchase the ribs.

Tossed my coupons last night. That's okay I got only 1 coupon anyway and besides there's no way my local WM would let me use 24 coupons in 1 transaction.

BTW, how did you get FPC for spinach? Never seen FPC for produce.

You TOSSED coupons!!!!! OMG even if I think I'll never use a coupon, I never toss it. You just never know what you'll run into, especially on a clearance rack or something. I've got enough dd's, SIL's and grandchildren that there's always someone who can use something, if not there's always the donation box and the grocery store. I don't get the paper delivered anymore, I wasn't getting any inserts and even a few phone calls didn't work. Heck half the time I never got my flyers on Thursdays either. I've found myself a nice place here in Calgary that I can gather neatly stacked inserts that people toss away .I usually will take 1 or 2, even 3. Last week there were more than 20 stacks and each stack had at least 50 inserts, so I helped myself to a few extra....I know it's bad, but they were only going to hit the trash at the end of the day so.....
As for the FPC's, I actually get them a few times a year from a few different companies. I've been on their mailing lists for over 20 years, and every now and then I'll get a nice surprise in the mailbox. This is the 2nd time this year that this company has sent me FPC's. It is always accompanied with a letter to thank me for being a great customer I NEVER complain. I get them for produce, and sometimes for fresh berries or other items from Driscoll's (I think I signed up some thing at a store, I believe it was Winn Dixie in Florida a long time ago.

I know there's a list here on SC, of different companies that you can write to requesting coupons. I don't do that though. I would imagine that they're overwhelmed with the amount of people that are asking for coupons nowadays. I'll try and get some free stuff if I find it listed here or on the internet, enter contests and such. I would say if you really, really like a product, try and get on their mailing list, and maybe one day you'll get a nice little surprise in the mail too
