This morning went well. We both got a little teary at home, but dried our eyes and said this is a good thing, plus she has been waiting for so long to go, she ran all the way there, because she didn't want to be late.
Once she got there, she found her seat and told me bye. I took the long way home .
I'm alone for the first time ever .

    Hi All,
Good morning, and a happy Friday to all.
Well my list of to do is so long I think I should get started, but all I've manage is breakfast and cleaning the washroom, I keep telling myself get moving, but my body just wants to relax and take it easy, let see who wins...
Well I'm off to go look at the flyers, and make my shopping list, that way I can make my meal plan for next week, have a great day ladies, and I will check back in later.

The secretary of the school that I visited yesterday already texted me this morning to book a full day in October for a different teacher. LO and I visited a public school this morning. I brought the can of Tim's coffee with my business card taped to the lid. I also put two business cards on each of the tables in the staff room. I could have put business cards in all the teacher's mail boxes, but I did that last year. Might do that later in the month or something. We will see. I stopped by a hotel in town and my friend booked us our hotel rooms for the wedding in October. Our discount rate was $71.99+ tax each night, which is a lot cheaper than the blocked off rooms for the wedding. LO and I are going to the other Catholic school at lunch time today for a visit. Here's hoping that I get some more days booked. I currently have 1/2 day booked in September and 4 1/2 days booked in October. Since I am a substitute teacher, I teach in September and get paid in October. This is my month that is completely without income. *sigh* Time to drum up more work and look to the future. I want to take LO to the small rodeo parade at 4:00 today. I have never gone to it. LO enjoyed the Canada Day parade.

I was in line for gymnastics registration at 5:45pm yesterday, doors were supposed to open at 6:00pm. We are 8th on a list waiting for LO's age group. They are thinking about making a third class...but we will see. The information that I was previously given was not accurate. It is $85 for once a week 30min class. If the class is cancelled due to illness or weather, there is not a make-up class. If your child decides that they don't like it, there is no refund. LO's clothes aren't adequate because the pants have to be tight. If we do get him into a toddler and parent class, then I need to buy him other pants just for there. It took 1.5hrs just to make it to the front of the line to hand in his registration sheet to be on the waiting list. ugh...I didn't enjoy that experience. If LO doesn't get in then I guess we will be there waiting over an hour before the doors open, just in hopes of getting him a spot. It's outright silly.

Thanks Nancy, I know she will....
When she sat down this morning the boy beside her pulled out his binder, and she was like "where is my binder?' I had to explain to her that she will get one too, but that boy started yesterday, so he already has his. I know she can't wait to get home to show me her binder, and I can't wait to see it either .

Angela- I know the feeling about waiting in line to be added to the wait list. We have an afterschool program that DS attends. Registration for this school year was in May. Doors opened at 6pm but you were advised to go early as people line up. I went at 4:30 which I thought was crazy early but went anyway. People started lining up at 1pm that day! I missed the cut off and DS was 2nd on the wait list. I was upset as my back up (Grandma) is going south for 2 months and not that I wanted to bug her everyday anyway. But they called me that evening telling me that they added some spots and my DS was in!!! I was so happy. I told DS that it was because they liked him and he is a good boy. I'm sure if he was a brat they would have not slipped him in!! So needless to say that in May 2015 for the 2015/2016 registration that I am going at noon and setting up camp in my camping chair. Crazy yes but my son loves the program and the cost is $150 for the year so totally worth it!

We just sold our Thule (roof car carrier) for 200.00 best part is we bought it for 200.00 last spring. One less piece of crap in the garage and more money in my savings.
FBM: The only time I go a little crazy online is at Christmas with Amazon, but its typically with swag bucks, but it can be addictive.
Had a very frugal Friday dinner three of us went meatless. We need to do this more as I live with meatatarions seriously that’s what the oldest calls himself.
I did amazing this week for lunch coffee out while working. Took my coffee every day and only bought lunch today. This is a huge step for me.
We do have a planned dinner on Saturday as we go out to celebrate the three bdays .
Luv: I had a similar experience this week as my oldest started high school. He demonstrated a level of independence and dare I say enthusiasm like never before.

Had a lot of running around to do today - blood work, paying bills and putting cheques in the bank. Came home thinking..... ah, I can rest - then remembered - REHEARSAL tonight for Oliver. Honestly, for the two minutes the adults sang, I could have stayed home. Then BOOM - bad storm as I was heading home. Did manage to get the dogs out for their last walk. Now it's time to get to bed. I have the privilege of performing a wedding in Windsor tomorrow. I was hoping to get all the paperwork done today but I'll have a bit to finish in the morning. Half of the city is without power. But we are in the lucky half. We had a good visit with dh's mum today at the nursing home. She was in a good space. Have a great day tomorrow, folks!
