Sobeys shopping that made me happy ..w/pix

Yesterday, I went to Sobeys because I wanted to use my FPC's that will expire September 30, so I bought all the following and then after my coupons my total came out to $10.xx I'm not sure what the cents were, but then I gave the cashier my sobeys card and my student card and the dollars started dropping down and I only had to pay $5.69. I felt verry hapy and I wanted to share this with my smartcanucks friends. The eggs and the bannanas would have costed me this much alone.
Everyweek I used to forget to show my students card, yesterday I held it along with my coupons to make sure I don't forget.

just curious about the student card and how to get one. Can it be used by younger students with their mother?

Sobeys has student discounts for college or university students. You just use your college or university card and they give you the discount (it's only for post-secondary students). The good part is that they give you the 10% discount before the coupons are applied.

Great shopping! I didn't know that Sobey's takes the SPC. When my son is visiting from university, I must bring him grocery shopping with me. (Oh, ya, that will make him want to visit me more. LOL )
