It seems like every week I am doing my shopping at 2-3 stores on average every week. This usually is SDM, WM and/or a grocery store(usually NF or FreshCo).
I was wondering do other members shop all over to get deals or stick to a few stores?Want to keep fit while earning incentives like Scene Points? Join Carrot Rewards using my personal code: rosaw3424

I generally go to Sobeys and Superstore (the two major grocery stores in my area), plus Costco. I don't travel too far afield, I don't have a car so I'm hopping the bus to go shopping.

On my way home from work I drive by:
Zellers
Sobeys x2
Canadian Tire
SDM x3
London Drugs
safeway
Save on foods
So it's easy to pop in for the deals.

It depends on what the offer is. Generally I do my shopping at WM. When I make my list each Thurs when I get the flyers, WM always has the longest list of things needed. Most of the others only have a couple, so I bring those flyers in to PM so I'm driving around. The only time I won't, is if the AirMiles (at Rexall) or the points (at SDM) is worth the trip. Neither are far for me, but I'm usually only picking up one or two things from each, so doing it at WM saves the hassle.
The only time I will shop at CT is when they offer scratch cards. Otherwise I avoid that store completely!!!
I love No Frills but since it's at least a 45mins drive for me, I have to have a really good list of things. I love their sales and I know they often have unadvertised deals, but I just can't make it in every week to check it out. I usually only go during $1 sales, etc. If I lived closer, I would be going there every week.Last edited by leda; Fri, Sep 30th, 2011 at 09:20 PM.

Metro, it's in the mall I work at. Occasionally SDM for makeup on bonus points day. The Independent or Loblaws 2-3 times a month (I like PC products). Cat food/supplies at Pet Valu.

I shop at quite a few but I walk, for the most part so that's how I rationalize it.
2 different Sobeys - a few times a week
CO-OP every Wednesday
Giant Tiger once a week
RCSS Once a week
WM about once a week- it depends
SDM maybe twice a week
Depends on the sales.

I usually try to do everything on Friday. There are quite a few stores on the way home from where I work on Friday afternoons. How many I get to depends on how good the deals are and how much energy I have. I usually get tired after 3 or 4.

I try to do my shopping once a week either on a Thursday or Friday all in one shop. I tend to stick to WM most times, but will go to SDM if the sales/optimum incentives are good. I will only go to the other grocery stores in my area if I'm looking for a specific product on sale that I know i can't find at my WM. If there's a really good sale at the other grocery stores, I PM at WM so I don't have to drive all over the place and do several shopping trips.

I have a couple stores all within walking distance - NF, FB, SDM, Valu Mart...
I usually hit up 2 of them a week - I try to get all produce from Loblaws and PM stuff at WM (both of those I have to drive to)

Mostly RCSS and PS. Between those two stores I can PM BuyRite, IGA, Safeway, NF, WM, and SOF. But I'll coupon shop all over. I try to avoid Walmart as much as possible.
