Safeway in ****** has lots of smartsouce coupons. Nothing new but atleast not empty tearpads!!

Not coming down on findme just a general observation and request. I think we need to stop posting WHERE exactly we find coupons. If someone wants to know where a certain couopn was found, let's PM that person.

As this post would indicate it's pretty discouraging to find empty tear pads. That has been happening WAY too much in my area, and I live in the NW. I think there are maybe a few greedy coupon hoarders in Calgary that run out when they find out where these coupons are and empty the TP's. Who knows what they are doing with the coupons, but it's not fair for the rest of us who just want a few.

I'm sure once I get to this safeway on tuesday that all these coupons will be gone now that it's been posted. I really hope not, but this has been my experience over the last couple months around here.

There is a coupon horder near the Sobeys in Forest Lawn. The pads are ALWAYS empty And I shop there quite a bit unfortunatly. I never take more than 10 from each pad and if there is only a few left I will only take one or 2. Because I know how dissapointing it is to see an empty pad right next to one of your favorite products. So if your reading this Sobeys coupon horder..please stop!

did anyone go to Pharmasave in Calgary today? was wondering if they're doing double coupon days

Is there a Pharmasave in Calgary? I went out to Airdrie this morning. There were lots of Smartcanucks there . There were some really good deals and they were very efficient and friendly. She said they would NOT be doing it monthly like in the East that it would be a once in a while thing. I would say that most things that were going to be free with the double coupons (like the dawn and febreze) were gone by 10:00am. They really don't have much stock and they started to put limit of 2 on most items.

The manufacturer coupons in the Coupon Zone at RCSS and Extra Foods can be used anywhere. WM will generally also take the CZ coupons. Some RCSS's will also accept both a CZ and a manufacturer coupon for an item as long as it doesn't exceed the cost. I know the one by my work does, but the one close to home doesn't.

Sobey's on 32 Avenue NE has Astro BioBest Maximmunite on sale today and Saturday for 1.49 (8 pack) Stawberry or Peach/Mango flavour only. They are on the end cap across from the back frozed food section. Great deal with the 1.00 coupons out there. Deposit on this product.

They don't just hit that store! Almost every store in the NE was cleaned out within a couple days of new coupons going up.

I was at the Airdrie Pharmasave this evening and received great service, very nice staff....... there were still were many couponers stocking up.
It was a bit of a bummer that there are no shopping carts, made my shopping time quite ackward and strenious. but..... there certainly would have been no room for all of us to be pushing cards around, its a tiny store.
Rick brough my binders and boxes in after a while and carried them around for me.

That is one very crowded and quite tight to manouver in store!!

That being said I did manage to stock up on quite a few different vitamins paying an average of $2 / 3 a bottle........ got 3 bottles of Halibut oil for the cat free.....lol!!!!

We also got a few boxes of different kinds of Bandaids, average paid was .99c each!!

I chatted afterwards with the staff there, and one said that early this morning a woman took many of the Vim, 0ver 12 bottles.......jikes....shame on that couponer!!!

Then they started putting out their limits to try to stop that happening again.

We doubled up and saved $86.00 in cpns...and paid about $30. Very happy with my purchases.
