I'm curious to know what other people put in their Christmas stockings... I LOVE making up stockings for my kids and my friends The kids always get a few of the same items every year: Electric toothbrush, bubble bath, Christmas socks, a small stuffy, kinder egg, etc. Everything else is different.
What do you put in kids stockings?
Do you put the same things in every year?
What do you put in a stocking for a guy? This thread is currently associated with: N/ASoft kitty, warm kitty, little ball of fur... happy kitty, sleepy kitty, purr purr purr

Growing up, we always received a rather large apple and orange in ours. Along with some chocolate.

For me too along with sugar mice..and shiny new pennies..
For the brood I used to put in fruit, some choccie or other sweets, a small game, fancy soaps, a comic or book ..basicaly trinkets to entertain the brood before we were fully awake and we could open the rest of the presents after I had started lunch.
Short answer : no Long answer : NOOOOOOOOOOO!

I always topped them off with a bag of those foil-covered chocolate coins for "good luck", and like Darth, they were the first things they opened in the morning so that hubby and could make our Christmas morning mimosas and prepare breakfast for all of us...then we all opened presents, one at a time...
I always simply wrapped each item in the stockings...took longer to open them, lol, and heightened the anticipation...
Guys are always difficult to make up stockings for...here's a list to help you, Sheets..

you said it Lynn, my guys are always tricky to buy for. For their stockings I have given a few " gag gifts " in the last few years just to fill them up. For DD of course there is always plenty of lip gloss, hair baubles, and fragrances to fill hers with. A must is their fav. chocolate brands ( Ferraro Roche, Tobblerone, Icy Squares, etc)

For us stockings are about the essentials we each get:
Body Wash
Toothbrush
Toothpaste
Deodorant
Socks
Undies
Make - Up (for the females)
Package of Hot Beverage of Choice (Tea/Coffee/Hot Chcoolate)
Blistex
Than the fun stuff:
Bag of Chips
Pack of Choice Chocolate (M & M's, Peanut Butter Cups)
Little Trinkets of Fav things (M & M Figures, Tigger Figures, Sports stuff)
But I must say we use Santa Sacks so it takes a lot to fill them. But First and For Most our main goal is the essentials2022 is going to be my year, the year I find organization in my life and the year I focus on myself,
