    We went to Superstore to look at the TVs in the Black Friday sale (also a tax free day which made for an extra 12% off). I have been saving my points all year for this and was redeeming points for PC GCs for this reason.

    We found a TV we liked: 50" smart TV (has wifi etc) reduced to $598.00 + eco fee of $39.50 = $637.50. Saved $76.51 not having to pay any tax.

    I redeemed $50 worth of points from dh's PC Plus card. That left $587.50 to pay. I had $585.00 worth of PC GCs saved up so the TV cost us a whopping $2.50 out of pocket!!

    Plus, we got 2 free turkeys worth $30 each for spending over $250 (the person in front of is was having an argument because they thought it was a turkey per $250 spent, even though the coupon said one per family). They backed down and gave them 2 and then they gave us 2 because we were nice and not complaining!!!

    So happy for $2.50 we got a new TV and 2 turkeys ... doing my happy dance!

    Great brag! Thanks for clearing something up that
    I had been wondering about. They are two separate
    loyalty programs, right? I wasn't sure if the PC points
    were amalgamated with the PC Plus?
    Also, you cracked me up with "we got a new TV and 2 turkeys"...
    now there's a combination you'll probably never see again!!
