I have been wanting to buy TFAL actifry for a while and while going through Flyers on Friday I noticed Loblaws and RCSS had it on sale for 187 dollars with 10,000 points back and they had no tax event going on as well but then Saturday morning I noticed that Walmart had the same one for 168.88 (roughly around that price), so I thought I would love to get that price but RCSS is not close by and I had planned on just buying it from Loblaws but they don't PM. Asked my husband if he would be able to PM it for me and get it from RCSS as I had guests coming and wanted to cook for the evening. I had been collecting PC points for few years on my master card as well from regular purchases and wanted to use those points to buy it. I had to give him detailed instructions to PM and make sure he gets 10,000 points and uses points to buy as well. Well he calls me half an hour later that they don't have it in stock and the person he checked with said he will give a raincheck to buy it later. I told him to check if they can do something about us not having to pay taxes but he said we will have to pay taxes as we are not able to buy it on Saturday. Told him to ask them again and this time the person actually went to check and found 1 available. We had 170,000 in points and I told him to use those to buy it. A lot of effort but he managed to use 150,000 points to buy and rest of the balance put back on the card. I am very happy that I got my Acti-fry although he came home grumbling that shopping is too tough with all the points I am trying to use and get back and Pming etc but I don't really care as I got what I wanted.

I enjoyed reading this! Your hubby sounds like mine when price-matching and trying to save. Although my hubby has come around. Now he ALWAYS asks if I have a coupon for something he wants or needs. Before he use to run out of the store. Great Brag Thanks for sharing
