I'm curious to understand something (much newer at this than you). If someone asked you how much you value your FPC Axe, or FPC xyz.... would you just come out and name the $ value you'd want for it or do you wait for them to offer/guess ?

Good question, now I haven't done THAT many trades yet. But I have traded with a few veteran SCer's, and from what I've gathered (from trading with them) is that you trade based on your value to the item. Now, I'm not a stingy person, I'm pretty liberal... FOr example My FPC Axe has a max value of $11.99, but I would probably value it at $5-6 dollars. Being that it IS an FPC, I wouldn't trade it for $5-6 of low value coups, I'd want to trade it for $5-6 worth of HV/rare coups or 2 times the value in low-value coupons - does that make sense?

Do any other Veteran SCer's have any input on this?

It really depends on why I want a particular coupon. If I don't want to use my axe coupon I may be willing to let someone else enjoy it for the right deal For example last spring I gladly traded a FPC with similar value for 5 x $1 off folgers because I was able to add them to stacks that enabled me to get several free cans of coffee. what is a low value coupon to someone else may be highly coveted by another couponer. If a trade seems too low then 'no thanks' is in order. This weekend I will actually pay for folgers for the first time since last February

Wow, how frustrating! i joined a VWT and sent this *%$#! 5 full bundles of coupons! i wish i seen this thread before i joined her dumb train. can admin block users? i hope she never gets a coupon out of anyone ever again...its really a shame that there are people on here that would do this to others

aww, sorry to hear that kidmom3 - if there are any coupons ur looking for, pm me and if i have them, i'll send them ur way (no trade necessary) - especially the brandsaver ones expring this month - i'm gonna end up throwing most of them out, so i rather send them to anyone who will use them.

Thanks Angel it just saddens me to know that people would actually make alias and diff accounts just to steal coupons. i'm sure its only 1 sour grape in the bunch and the majority of us are awesome ppl. So for everyone that makes good on trades and trains! you rock, those that do this should be so ashamed

I would trade a FPC for a FPC or FPC for HV coupons in return - if I was trading a FPC for low value coupons that I do need it would have to be many to make up for a FPC
