Angela-I was just thinking that I recently visited the triplet boys who are soon to turn 3-they are all at different stages of potty training/success even though the daycare/parents have done the same with all of them. In fact the Mum told me that for one of the boys he did not pee in the potty even once until several months of repeated attempts so I do think it really is an individual thing. Also my friends with twin boys were trained at different ages. He will get there! I know it would be lovely to have him trained before the new baby and hopefully he will be but one day it will happen!
Mmmm. I smell the coffee brewing. Guess I should get my butt out of bed and start this day. Breakfast. Then get groceries. Finish laundry. Take drive to beach with my honey and dog for a walk :). Then back home to clean/switch kids bedrooms. Then dinner. Maybe steak :)
-angela my son was around 3 and a few months-I remember talking to my doctor and he said boys sometimes don't feel the sphinkter muscle or they are just lazy don't want to take the time out from what they are doing- even when he went to school at 4 years 7 months he had an accident (teacher helped him changed into other spare clothng and called me and I went an got him)they dont do that now
-my daughter was trained before she was 2 -but went back to peeing her pants for a bit when she was 2and a half-when her brother was born which is normal
-well had a cold last week but was asked to watch"ashlyn" on thurs as she had a fever and was on meds-well she sneezed a few times near nana and guess what last night I was shivering in bed-flu, achy,I think we are passing it back an forth between the 2 of us -I don't think i feel up to going out for lunch with daughter today (just her and her dad)
-hopefuly i feel better on monday as I have to babysit again -mon/tue and friday
Good morning, everyone. :)
It's cold & dark & the critters have gone back to bed. Debating whether to join them. Decisions, decisions. ;)
Tomorrow is part 2 of the annual tune-up, which means no caffeine for me today. Sigh. What sort of sadist devises a test that prevents people from enjoying chocolate for over 24 hours????? I can't even count on the brats' enthusiasm to help me get through the day. I think it will be a loooong one.
Off to wash the breakfast dishes. Or crawl back under the covers. Or wake the brats and have them wash the dishes while I crawl back under the covers. :P
Hope everyone has a wonderful day. :)
sorry for my tardiness - here is the link for the February thread
