    Since CTV started showing American football games Saturdays and Sundays, i feel cheated not being able to Watch the news and weather! I dont like Globo or CBC news! Give me back CTV news. Enough already with all this football!

    i know the feeling, i'm not a sports fan what so ever and it drives me crazy when my regularly scheduled program is pre-empted for sports... or the stupid sports runs into overtime and screws up everything else that gets recorded (either the whole rest of the night is shifted and my PVR recording gets cut off, or they go to the show "in progress" as if we want to watch the show once it's already half over) i used to have to record the amazing race and the hour show after it because never fail sports would run anywhere from 15 min to 45 min late pushing everything else

    I hear ya last night was football again but I was surprised to watch the 6pm news tonight. Geez I don't know much about football but isn't the super bowl the big deal and I thought it was american thanksgiving weekend?

    My dh is a football addict. I can assure you that the beginning of Feb. will be the end of it and then we go to "March Madness" - College Basketball, followed very quickly, by Baseball and intermingled are hockey and Golf. Phew!

    All's well in my world when it's on. Unfortunately it's over with the Super Bowl in February...OMG, the parties we used to host!!
    Fortunately March Madness, college basketball, will start shortly after.
    News can be found on any channels, there's the weather channel....or on line....

    I am so glad hubby doesnt Watch basketball!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And watching CTV news online isnt the same as watching it on tv. I would rather Watch hockey than football but im nto a major fan of either. Go Habs Go!
