I went to the Target close to me today. No sales going on. I was told that there would be no sale or clearance until liquidation starts and that will be happening soon!

I agree re: the CTV. That's misinformed. If they had bothered to look at the start date of the clearance thread, they'd see it was started in January last year!

Probably missed the 2014.
Just posted it in my Facebook wall. I'll gladly show anyone my stashes of laundry detergent, dishwasher detergent, grass seed and cosmetics that I practically got for free with clearance, coupons and rebates. (Not) Sorry everyone missed out. Thanks for nothing vultures.
Sad that I was only one more prescription from a 10% off coupon.

Manager told me earlier this week to use up my GCs this week just in case. He also said they would allow PMing and accept coupons at the store at least through today (Friday). So PMed a couple of things, used a coupon, and used up the last of my gift cards. So sad.

Does someone knows if they still accept returns?

I went to Target today and found a really nice chair that I liked, but it was the last one and there was no price tag. So I found someone who worked there and asked her the price. She said because there was no tag to scan she had no idea what the price is and cant sell it to me. Talk about unhelpful. I've never been to a store before to be told I cant buy something, because they don't know what the price of it is. Most stores are more than happy to take my money.

That's too bad
I've bought stuff at Target with no tag - normally the manager offers me a great price. But I guess with morale being down, some staff are less helpful than they used to be

The Target closest to me is getting really empty. Don't think there will be much to liquidate when the time comes, just sheets lol. There's hardly any women's or kids clothing left, and only one rack of clearance in each clothing department. No baby furniture or equipment other than a few crib mattresses and a two excersaucers. I think they'll be one of the first stores to close since they're a stand alone store.
I overheard a guy on his cell phone telling someone he was at Target and the store was so much nicer than Walmart and it's too bad it's closing. Yeah no s**t dumbass.

For some reason all the trucks were cancelled for the last reason at one of our stores. They were expecting them. This week it's a truck coming each day so they'll be some newer stuff.

I went to TArget this morning and found the shelves fully stocked and staff opening box after box of merchandise. Other than a few toys and work clothing everything was full.price. I would imagine the liquidator will start discounts from the highest price point possible.
So many coupons....so little time!
