I'd like to say I don't but there are 1 or 2 people that I have a grudge against. Cannot stand them. It takes a lot for me to dislike someone but when I do, I don't change my mind.

i use to be a grudge holder but i try not to anymore .... it's just too emotionally draining to hold a grudge.
but if i don't have to see that person i have a grudge against, i just don't have anything to do with them. You can't change other people. You can only change yourself"

I think I used to hold grudges, but over the years I've learned that the emotional drain is much heavier on me than on the person I have the grudge against, who's going along her or his merry little way!
I don't give anyone that power over me now.

To be healthy, it’s not good to hold a grudge. That’s in a perfect world, though.
I try not to hold a grudge. Sometimes I succeed. Sometimes I fail at this.
I try to let it go, whenever possible. It seems to get easier to do this as time goes by. Hopefully I will be able to keep this up. Hopefully….

In way younger days, I did.
That changed with maturity for me, just not being worth it. My own sanity and peace of mind are more important, I go on happily with my life.
I agree with what frugal said, that it's too emotionally draining to hold a grudge - and with Lynn, that you don't want someone else to have power over you.
Those two statements are very insightful!

I use to hold grudges and learned over the years it's emotionally draining. Plus it gives the person more power over you. I just smile inwardly and tell myself I'm glad I'm not like them (bullies, arrogant, abusive, insulting type people).
