hi folks, i'd like to get an avatar but don't know how. i haven't any photos to upload and was wondering if i could use one from the net and if so how would i do that?.

You can definitely use one from the internet. First save the picture somewhere on your computer. Then

1. Go to UserCp at the top of the SC page
2. Select Edit Avatar
3. Browse for the picture
4. Select use custom avatar
5. Hit save changes

Well i have been a member now for about 2 months and just found the chit chat lol. Real name is Jen, reason for my SC's name is i collect cow stuff, and love cows lol. I live in the 1000 Islands region and live right on the water, oh so beautiful. No kids, live with my boyfriend of 3 years. I work at a Tour Boat Line, so if someone is in the area PM me, i can get you free tour hehehe. I am 31 years old, but act like im still in my 20's lol. Anyways, nice to meet all of you!!! hello to everyone! -after popping in on & off i've finally decided to join. i have to confess that it was the contest listing that got me in here! it's a fairly new hobby for me and i just love entering them and creating the possiblity of a winning! i've won twice so far, both times at Quick & Simple magazine - don't know what and still waiting! ...... i like this site. it's well laid out and organized and it has a really great community 'feel' to it - very nice. i'm off now to scour the net in search of contests to enter. thank you for the ones that were posted. i'll be back if i find any new ones! so, bye bye for now
