Welcome to Smart Canucks.
Some SCs have e-mailed or written to companies that sell the specialty items you described. Some have received coupons too.

Metro, Loblaws and Sobeys sometimes have tear pad coupons for these items. If you purchase them when they are on sale, the coupons really help.

A little late (couple months) on introducing myself. Love this site as does my couponing club. As I have said on other threads I just wish I could contribute as much or more as I get from this site. Lol. There are such great people on this site, haven't ran into one I didn't like so far! I've been couponing for a bit and have a pretty nice stockpile (hope to get some pics up!). An employee of my sister calls me the crazy coupon lady (to which I'm not insulted), but I always insist with a smile on my face that I'm NOT a couponer....I'm CHEAP! It's funny...but once I learned that I could shave atleast 50% off my groceries there is no going back - how can you NOT coupon? haha.
