Hi, I'm new too... writing from PEI.... Am trying to save a few $'s over Christmas this year. Trying to be creative. My grown kids/grandkids exchange names amongst themselves and try to be creative as possible only spending $5 per gift. It's amazing what they come up with, and they seem to have fun doing it.

I've decided to do a little project myself this year.... I purchased each family a coupon organizer and am hoping to fill it with lots of good coupons that I know they will use-- and samples as well and parcel it up into a basket or some such thing. I pick up quite a number of brand new/almost brand new things at Value Village when I can get a good deal--- mugs, towels, etc. so hopefully by Christmas, I'll have a neat little *stash* for each of them. It's been fun... the countdown is on, so am hoping to find lots of good ideas on this site. Thanks.

A good place to start learning about the site and saving $$ is to look under each top menu tab: Coupons, Deals, Freebies ..... When you're on that page, click on the threads marked "STICKY".

A sticky thread means it stays (sticks) to the top of the page instead of flowing off to the 2nd, 3rd, or 4th page based on the time of the last post.

Here's an example from the Coupons page:

*OFFICIAL* Canadian Printable Coupons ( 1 2 3 ... Last Page)

Not all stores take printable coupons. You can do some searches for coupon policy in the coupon thread area OR go to the company web site and look for coupon policy - many have started posting them. Even once you read the policy, stores can sometimes do things differently and some are not up to speed on training their staff so some of print and bring them along with us.

hello Everyone!!!!!! Im Mary and Im from Brantford ontario. Im a single parents and what couponing means to me is a way of living to help me feed the hungry little muchkins!! and myself! Im also 30 and have been couponing and freebie sampling for almost 9 months now! and I love it.... I used to only do a few here and there before but have been getting into it big time lately !
