Normally, I'd be watching a lot of tv on a weekend. This past weekend, however, I started playing a video game called Deus Ex Human Revolution and it's sorta dominated everything else.

We try to see a movie every month or so.
We got the CAA Cineplex movie pack deal in December with 4 tickets and a lot of coupons inside.
Recently, we saw Kingsmen: The Secret Service (8/10 IMO)
In the summer we are working in our little garden but take time to just sit and watch flowers grow, at that time.
I think that being a couch potato can be good for your mental health and good stress relief, especially when you are laughing at a good show/movie or sitting outside breathing fresh air.Last edited by Shwa Girl; Wed, Feb 18th, 2015 at 08:02 AM.

We don't have time for adult TV marathon binges but we usually watch about 2 hours a night.
If the kids are sick they can watch 2-3 Disney type movies.
The last real TV marathon I can remember having was when I was pregnant with DS. Each Tuesday and Thursday I would drop DD off at preschool then go home and watch binge watch Entourage until it was time to pick her up at 4. lol. Anyone else excited for the movie this Summer???

I usually can't sit still long enough to even watch a movie - but Sunday I watched the 3 1/2 hours of SNL - had to take LOTS of breaks, though.

I've been a couch potato for the past 9 months since my fall and I'm dang tired of it! Now my progress has taken a slight step backwards, but not for long. I'm also now battling my annual February bronchitis with what I learned is "burst therapy"...heavy drugs, 5 days of misery and then who knows? 3 more days to go.....
I don't recommend this course of action for any sort of couch-potatoism....

almost everyday is a CP day, after work and especially the weekends.

Couch potato days are usually Saturday and/or Sunday for me. I try to have at least two couch potato days per week lol. I agree it's a great stress reliever.

How about a couch potato year? ( retirement ) lol!! Well not really, I mean it started out o.k. but I think because I insisted on keeping my highly demanding unpaid and unappreciated job at home here, things went off the rails recently. Between that and giving in to the call of the foods that I should have divorced.....catching up on tv series that I had wanted to watch for a while...( Stargate Atlantis, Breaking Bad, Dexter and now House Of Cards.....I am guilty as charged! ( oh and btw.... it is a single comfy recliner, not a couch ) tee hee

When there is a Walking Dead Marathon I can watch it all day but I have to be doing something at the same time so usually I save it for laundry day since the tv is downstairs and so is the laundry room lol

This week I haven't gone downstairs to watch TV at all, other weeks I'll binge watch an entire season. Now that we have some renos on our house I'm all over the DIY and HGTV channels. I have 40+ episodes of property brothers and income property on my PVR at the moment... I'll be working on those this weekend. Too many ideas, not enough time (or $$).
