Off to another day of FREE things,
My son and I went to Cineplex this morning for Barbie Princess of Power Screening (He says not to tell his friends, Im sure they wont know) the screening was FREE and I used 1000 scene points for a regular popcorn and drink making the whole trip to Cineplex FREE
When I came home I ordered 30 4 by 6 prints of my art from Walmart FREE (I used the coupon code 15FREEPRINTS, and every time you use a new email account you get 15 FREE prints.
I than used the Blacks ap on iPhone and ordered my travel book with 20 pictures (pictures from March break) these are normally $14.99 I paid $4.99 using the coupon code TRAVELBOOK
It is gross out but I decided to go for a walk to check out if my local SDM was throwing anything out...
There was so much today!! I went to my condo to get a shopping cart and filled the cart!! I have tons of cookies, grham crackers, apple juice, belvita cookies, quaker cookies, more kashi bars, tide soap, garlic bread, tons of boxes of all bran buds, chocolate brownie bars and k cups to now find homes for!! I did leave lots in the dumpster for other families to find What a day of FREE things... Great savings for you but this just irks me to no end. The UK has an approved foods store that sells perfectly good but expired items. Why isn't this thing here too?

Wow another great find for you , but I do find this so absolutely despicable that they continue to throw this stuff in the dumpster, not only can people in need use this, it is horrible for our environment. They should be ashamed.

Ya thing is that they get money back from corporates so its kinda of suck that such things will be thrown out. North American throw way much food that if shared with other countries, it will completely eradicate poverty.
I am so sad [teary eyes]

Sorry .... but how does "Tide" expire? I can see expiry dates being adhered to by food banks when there is an active ingredient -- so dairy products, meat products, ... which could cause illness ... but the other stuff -- doesn't cause illness - just may be stale. Unbelievable that these products would be in a dumpster .... Here in BC you can't just put the food waste in landfill anymore - From April 1 there are fines for it.... needs to be put in the food waste recycle programme. Isn't is the same in Ontario?

Great finds again! Do you know if enough people get the items out before they actually end up in the land fill? It seems like the word would spread about all the goods that this SDM has free for the taking. Love that you can get them and us them.
