Starting on July 18th on FX!! What I intend to do is watch the comeback ( reprisal? ) of Timothy Olyphant in his role as Deputy U.S. Marshall Raylan Givens on the series Justified.
This new limited series is called Justified: City Primeval I was so sad when the original series ended. Hooray for re-births!!

I am now watching episode 2 on Netflix! Love Timothy Olyphant in this role.

I am so sad now, I binged the entire 8 episode first season of Justified City Primeval. However, the best surprise was in
episode 7 and 8 seeing old cast members resurrected from the original series....and who was my favourite that returned? Walton Goggins as Boyd Crowder!

Well!! THIS is very exciting for me to post about because I am NOT a comic book reader or an Anime cartoon watching person.
There's a Netflix show ( with real actors ) that I stumbled upon last night and while watching the 1st episode of Season One
DS happened to pop by the tv room. He went Gaga, grinning from ear to ear! So I asked him " oh? do you know this show? "

He couldn't stop talking ... I've not seen him this excited about something from his childhood tv catalogue in a long time. There have been
other remakes or whatever of things he's loved that he says they totally " F " up. Usually they mess with the story line or the characters.
Apparently this is quite a new release! So look at me being all hip! ha ha It's called One Piece.
Pretty sure there will be many sc members who are also die hard fans of this animated show. We binged ALL 8 episodes.

Just did the latest episode of Ashoka on Disney+ , then watched the animated movie Elemental! Both were very good.
Netflix will be later this afternoon maybe.

Poker Face!!! Season One done and Season 2 is postponed until 2024...... Natasha Lyonne ( main character ) is the complete package. Writer actor, director.
Plus in this series she definitely has the mannerisms and style of Columbo.
For those of you too young to remember Peter Falk as Columbo, here ya go! lol

Apple TV+ All I can say is move over Sally Field ( aka 1976's Sybyl ) as Tom Holland came, saw and slayed portraying Danny Sullivan, a person with Multiple Personality Disorder in
a 10 episode Series called The Crowded Room. I underestimated both his dramatic chops and how many tissues I needed to get through the entire thing. 10/10

I should put this post in both the " in memoriam " and here. Graphic artist, Si Spencer penned an 8 part comic book series that was turned into the Netflix series called Bodies.
Sadly Si passed away in February 2021 at 60 years of age from heart failure. I've only watched the first episode of Bodies and wow!! British stuff is so good. It's bit of a mind twister until you understand that the same dead body is discovered by different detectives in a lane way but in 4 separate eras. First in 1890, then 1941, 2023 and 2053 !
Si Spencer also was involved in other projects that made it to the big screen, one in particular I loved was Judge Dredd.

It took some dedication but I powered through all 8 episodes of Bodies. I can see me re-watching that series again at some point. The timelines that they flip back and forth with can become confusing. I highly recommend this Series.

This was just SO weird. I placed all the Season 4 episodes of Star Trek Discovery into my Bell on Demand library. I previously watched 12 episodes but couldn't bear to watch the last one. I hate when a Series Season ends, not knowing will they make another one? This was all back in March 2022.
This morning for no special reason I put on episode 13, the last one. It was very emotional, with lots of action of course. Then at the very very end who do I see playing the role of the President of Earth!? None other than Stacey Abrams! My heart busted right out of my chest....I adore that Political powerhouse of a woman. Hope she runs for Office again.
Anyways, turns out their is a FINAL Season 5 that will start in early 2024!! Sadly, I don't have Paramount+ ( grrr! ) BUT I may be able to wait until all the episodes have aired, then do a 1 week trial of Paramount+ through my Amazon Prime link. Fingers crossed!!

Watched just the first 2 available episodes of A Murder At the Edge of The World on Disney+ . So-so I guess. Slow in parts. I'll give it a chance. Third episode was supposed to be there but wasn't? Hrmph. My Apple+ subscription is ending Nov 17th. ( I cancelled ). The last episode of TWO different shows ( Lessons In Chemistry and I forget the title now of the 2nd one ) are both airing on the 17th. Hoping I can squeak ( sneak ) in there passed midnight on the 16th to finish both.
A few other returning series I'll be quite sad to miss include For All Mankind and Silo. Their new seasons will begin after my Apple+ is gone. Figures.
