Just started the new to me Disney series called A Thousand Blows, originally I was drawn to it because of the British actor Stephen Graham.
I've enjoyed so many of his roles in various projects. For this role he's transformed his body to that of a boxer and at 52 years old he looks convincing!
In episode one I started giggling as I noticed the boxing ringmaster role is played by a mate ( Daniel Mays ). They were in a 2020 series called Code 404.
Anyhow....so far this series looks quite promising!

I watched ALL 10 episodes of The Day of The Jackal!! Eddie Redmayne delivered!! Cannot wait for them to make a 2nd Season.

Fargo. Tv Series started in 2014...so I am very late to the party. I get to see it now through an offshoot of Crave. On Season 3 already.
What a crazy, crazy show. Lots of big named actors in it but on different seasons.

I struggled making the decision to watch Adolescence steaming on Netflix. The subject matter is so harrowing and emotional from a parent's perspective.
It was only 4 episodes, each one more gut wrenching than the last. The entire cast performances were amazingly vulnerable. These episodes were shot in
a one take sequence, which means they don't stop the film rolling. Everybody in the scene from start to finish has to hit their mark, say their lines.
No pressure! I cried ( sobbed ) heavily in the last episode but I knew I would. 10/10

Bro is bingewatching Bones and is in Season 6. Made mistake of telling him that there are 12 seasons. While show is intriguing and occcasionally skews funny on purpose, it is hard to hear and watch hours of the forensics/special effects every day. The music seems deliberately louder than dialogue...arghhhh.

Happily was checking Apple tv+ but Selena +Chef, and the +Restaurant series all need purchasing. Hmm. We do not get Crave.

Popped onto Prime Video and noticed second season of Beacon 23 is ON! Episode one just viewed.

I watched the Season 3 finale of The White Lotus this morning. I will not reveal any spoilers. Just want to predict that actress Carrie Coon will receive a nomination ( and a win! ) for any one of the awards they give out for her emotional performance. Crocodile tears flowed from me, she's so versatile in the many roles she's had!

Season 3, episode 13, One Of Us Now ( of Will Trent ) was a blast! The entire cast dances along to Donna Summers song Last Dance!! Hilarious, especially if you know
the various serious nature of some of the characters. Very out of character IYKWIM Essentially a hallucinogenmic dream sequence of Will's mind.

Season 5 of YOU . This ( I hope ) will be the last season. It sure delivered even bringing back a couple of characters from 3 seasons ago!
This series is NOT for the weak-kneed. Crazy silly scenes where you say to yourself " no way he did that in broad daylight and no one saw! " .

Just started watching Apple Cider Vinegar in Netflix, gives the same vibes as Inventing Anna.

I am enjoying it so far I am in the second episode.
