Thread: Organizing the paperworks at new office
-

I recently joined a new medical pharmaceuticals as the production manager. Though I love the work and the staffs are quite friendly I find it difficult to manage all the papers and files there. The office I worked earlier used an document imaging management software from Ash Conversions in Toronto and had all the documents scanned and stored as e-files which made them very easy to handle. Also it was easier to find a particular document when it's stored that way. So I am thinking of doing the same here. But the staff in this office seems to be repulsive to the idea. I don't know what's bothering them but they are saying that papers are easier to manage than scanned docs. How can I make them understand the advantages of document imaging?

Going paperless is the way to go, sometimes people are afraid of change and are hesitant to change their ways. I would start the process (upon approval) but not discard the hard copies and once they realize how much nicer and convenient it is they will convert. My husband did not want to go paperless in our office and our admin girl did this and he admits he was just set in his ways and appreciates this system and its efficiency.

People as a rule to not like change, once you implement this will have no choice and you will be pleasantly surprised how well it will work.

Sounds like a cheap commercial for: The office I worked earlier used an document imaging management software from Ash Conversions in Toronto and had all the documents scanned and stored as e-files which made them very easy to handle. Also it was easier to find a particular document when it's stored that way.
Particularly when the OP with 2 posts, doesn't have the class to respond. I smell......
