I just went shopping at Sobeys for their 10% off Tuesday. I paid $90 for $170 in groceries after getting the 10% discount, redeemed 5 FPCs and $30 in AM. Once I got home with my three young children I realized that I will have to go back to the store to get two SCOPs.

On Friday DH returned a stray shopping cart for a $1.00 and I received a $25.00 GC to Tim Horton's free as they could not get my $25.00 Visa GC to work.

Our twins are 4 months old and they are both still exclusively breast fed.

Yesterday I took the whole family to the library for the free story time program for our 3yr old son. While there I ran into a friend that I hadn't seen in quite some time and we were able to socialized with our children the entire time. I also sold $45 in extra baby boy clothes that we no longer needed. I am buying 10 zippered sleepers for baby girl for $10 today off our local Facebook garage sale page.

edit: the baby girl sleepers that I purchased weren't such a great deal. The person turned around and only had 6 sleepers for $5. I checked them out after I purchased them and discovered that only 1 was a zippered sleeper and it was size 3 months, so it barely fits her. Too bad the seller lives out of town, which is why she delivered them to my house, otherwise I might have noticed before I paid for them and she left.

Waited till work again today for coffee! I am really going to try and be extra frugal in the New Year but doing so when I can now. The news reminded me the other day how the cost of groceries are really going up so have to be smarter (I am a pretty good shopper/planner for the most parts but some times I feel too busy/overwhelmed) So since I am off the 2 weeks at Christmas I am really going to try hard to get my house organized and ready for a frugal new year! And part of that is having the biggest garage sale ever in May!!!! I want all the junk gone!
