She's a sick puke. I started watching the video on the UK Daily Mail site just to see if it was real, and I couldn't get beyond how business-like she is discussing this whilst eating.

Your title is very misleading. It's not true. They do not sell body parts, they are reimbursed for shipping costs of fetuses donated by the parents. Shipping costs to preserve the tissue requires a specific type of packaging.

People donate fetuses they same way they donate their own organs. Someday you may benefit from the scientific advances it provides.

Hope you don't mind if I play devil's advocate with your post, Patty?
Actually, there is specific mention of extracting organs (hearts, lungs, livers), so the reference to "body parts" is true. Shipping costs may or may not be exorbitant (I have no clue about these costs).
That they do. And I have no idea about the costs involved (whether her figures were accurate or inflated).
Interesting read.
Maybe. I do wonder whether they've been informed that the abortion may be more difficult or may be more likely to cause complications because they are trying to preserve certain organs. Does the parent sign a generic waiver or are things spelled out in minute detail concerning all that can go wrong (I've had surgeons discuss potential risks the day before surgery, the day or surgery and again while I was being prepped for surgery). I also wonder whether there is an organization that oversees how this is handled (similar to organ donation from people since by current definition a fetus is not a person - sorry for the clumsy attempt to explain)? In the organ donation world, there are very strict rules in place as to who may donate and how the procedure is done (medical complications, etc). I question whether that sort of governing body is in place.
Oh yes, many people already have (stem cells, anyone?).

Stems cells are also available for the child to whom it belongs. We chose to store and continue to pay for the stem cells of both children. May we never need to use them, but there is great comfort in knowing we have them.
Friends don't let real friends pay full price.

Thanks. US government and opposition party both spoke up about further investigating.
Adult stem cells can also be used for research. It is a bit more work than using fetal stem cells but scientists are smart people and can find a way to get the results they desire with adult stem cells

Grand Jury indicts leader behind Planned Parenthood videos
A Houston grand jury investigating undercover footage of Planned Parenthood found no wrongdoing Monday by the abortion provider and instead indicted anti-abortion activists involved in making the videos that provoked outrage among Republican leaders nationwide.
David Daleiden, founder of the Center for Medical Progress, was indicted on a felony charge of tampering with a governmental record and a misdemeanor count related to purchasing human organs. Another activist, Sandra Merritt, was also indicted on a charge of tampering with a governmental record. It's the first time anyone in the group has been charged criminally since the videos started surfacing last year.
In a statement announcing the indictment, Harris County District Attorney Devon Anderson didn't provide details on the charges, including what record or records were allegedly tampered with and why Daleiden faces a charge related to buying human organs. Anderson's office said it could not provide details until the documents charging Daleiden and Merritt were formally made public, which was expected later Monday.
"We were called upon to investigate allegations of criminal conduct by Planned Parenthood Gulf Coast," Anderson's statement said. "As I stated at the outset of this investigation, we must go where the evidence leads us."

Well, very happy that all women have access to abortions in Canada, anyway.
