Happy Anniversary!

I finally gave in & turned the heat on this morning! It was only 15C in the house & 6C outside brrrrr......

Ahhh it's boiling hot and humid here in the GTA! AC all the way... Really can't stand the heat! I prefer Fall anytime

Happy Anniversary!

It is crazy hot here...bleh. I'm so ready for Fall and all things pumpkin, We went for ice cream the other day and I got Country Pumpkin ice cream.... O M G it was SO good!!!! SO good. I was pretty nervous about getting it because well, it just sounds...weird...but it was amazing!!!!! I am definitely going back for more.

Been pretty busy around here lately too. Did some shopping yesterday, bought a new bedroom set and TV. Can't wait to get it! We brought the TV home with us but the bedroom set isn't coming until next Tuesday. Totally worth the $70 delivery fee just because they put it together, lol. DH is NOT good with putting things together...gets very frustrated, and it's an 8 piece set so it would take forever for us to do. And because we aren't busy enough already we decided we should probably paint the bedroom before we get the new set, so started doing that yesterday. Yay. LOVE painting! snort.


I decided I'm going to make our Halloween costumes this year. We are all going to be superheroes, haha. It will be the first year since Jaxson was born that DH won't be working (only cause it's on Saturday this year)....so we are going all out. Kyra is going to be Wonder Woman, I am going to be Black Widow...and the boys haven't decided yet. I started making Kyra's costume already cause I wasn't sure how it was going to turn out and omg is it ever adorable LOL. I crocheted the top and am making a tutu on the bottom of it...soooo cute. I want one! Sort of. I don't think I can rock a tutu though, LOL! But I see more tutus in her future...bahaha.

Ooo....I hope TuttiFruitti has pumpkin frozen yogurt, will have to keep my eyes out everytime I go to the mall! I discovered their eggnog one way too late last year, it was soo good!

that sounds adorable, please post photos when you are done! I'm not crafty at all. Hannah will be Scooby-Doo this year, she is so excited as we found this costume 2 years ago secondhand & this year it finally fits her

i love fall! It's my favourite season! Only downside is it is followed by winter �� well two actually, I prefer fall in Ontario, there are more lovely trees that turn colours there.

Man, I wish I got flyers! We live in a new area so no flyer delivery & on top of that my local store won't price match to F L I PP Grocery at so expensive out west compared to Ontario & then on top of that they keep going up.

how much does everyone spend on groceries a week? I used to spend about $125/week for a family of 3 but lately it's been $150-$180/week OUCH! Yesterday was $160 but at least I was able to get $30 off with PC points.

i Spend $200+ A week. But Im also feeding 7 of us. Its crazy sometimes. I got to the city once or twice a month, to do a large shop at like WM or RCSS. I have a small store here at home but its super expensive.

Ah, guess who woke up with a sore throat this morning? First day of school! We will go down at school opening so he can meet the teacher and see his classroom (I hope) but he won't be staying... and I've emailed my boss to see about the rest of the week since I'm sure he won't be going tomorrow... Ugh! What a way to start out. I am probably more upset than he is, I just see the other kids getting into the routine right away and he'll be behind. Plus, I was supposed to have the day off to myself! Ah well... we'll get through this.

Hannah doesn't start school until tomorrow so i decided to take her to our local indoor playground so we could practice getting up early & out the door on time! It wasn't as bad as I thought, hopefully tomorrow morning goes just as well! At the indoor playground now & we are the only ones here so far (normally its quite busy, though I'm not normally here first thing in the am), hopefully more kids show up soon!

Ummmmm... what happened to the hot muggy weather we had this past weekend? Kinda chilly today but autumn is one of my favorite seasons Can't wait to get my buddy so I can start shopping!

Hopefully kiddo is better tomorrow! But my boss let me have the rest of the week off so phew! I ended up calling the school to get his teacher's name. It was the one he thought it would be, so he's happy. I'm more upset than he is of course, I'm thinking of all the other kids picking their desks, and cubbies and he won't get to until tomorrow so he'll have whatever is left! Hopefully tomorrow that is, he has a bit of a fever but I think it's just a cold so he should be ok tomorrow. Fingers crossed!

It is still super hot here, went to check the mail and just about melted! Supposed to drop off by Thursday a little bit any way. And I also can't wait to get my buddy! I'm excited to shop Tomorrow is pay day so great timing

Kayden started the wonderful hacking this past weekend too. He went to school but i told him if hes not feeling well he could come home. The weather here has been pretty crappy too. I refuse to turn the heat on yet though. Supposed to hit 23 later this week. Its still about 21 in the house so its cuddle up with a blanket temps!

Ive had a migraine on and off for the last 2 days and i haven't been sleeping well. Cant even nap cause i gotta take Zoe to work right before i pick up Kayden
