It's an invasion and at some point there will be a severe backlash, violence, people being elected who never should be elected begetting more violence. I fear for Europe's future.

"Many won't accept food from the red cross because it has the cross on it."
Apparently, this is not true. I was listening to a news report overnight from DW Radio in Germany, with reporters from Serbia, Croatia, and Hungary - and they were still commenting on this...

One thing is missing from this poll....who is it exactly that they asked i.e. polled for this? When they say "Canadians", did it include visible minorities or did the pollers cut corners ? This is utter rubbish because I am personally not opposed to it, and I know a lot of people that aren't either. The main people "opposed" to this, is the usual suspects with xenophobic traits
Opposition is highest in Alberta (62 per cent) and lowest in Atlantic Canada (46 per cent).
The poll suggests that Premier Brad Wall is on the right side of public opinion in Saskatchewan.

Shameful...I am more worried about this nincompoop than innocent refugees and immigrants from wherever.
Montreal police have charged a 24-year-old man in connection with a video posted on YouTube that shows someone in a "Joker" mask threatening to kill Muslim people in Quebec.
Jesse Pelletier faces charges of uttering threats, inciting hatred against an identifiable group, making a declaration to incite fear among an identifiable group, and using a fake firearm.

WOW!
I am way more 'scared' of Syrian passport than Syrian Refugee! Can you believe that if a passport can survive bomb blast & other who-knows-what pressure then wonder what it can it do to humans?"Freedom is a myth, love is non-existent and privacy is delusional! No right to live or die"
Like for me no apparent reason!

The Canadian government's Syrian refugee plan will bring in women, children and families only, CBC News has learned. To deal with ongoing security concerns, unaccompanied men will not be part of the program.

Canadian officials said details of a plan to take in 25,000 Syrian refugees by year's end would be announced Tuesday.
The cost and other details will be revealed on Tuesday, Immigration Minister John McCallum told reporters in Ottawa.
