    DH and I knew we would need a car so we did some shopping around, found the exact car we want, bit the bullet and went in yesterday to get the process started. GM is having an event right now where you "connect and win". Basically the salesperson goes onto the website, fills in the form, then you take the mouse and click on the button. DH went first (since he's the one buying the car) and won $1000 off the purchase price. Sweet! Then we were told I could play to and transfer my prize to DH. I click and I won, drumroll.... $10,000!!!!!! OMG! We didn't believe it at first, it took awhile for it to sink in. So, we were able to keep our payments where we are confortable, but were able to shave 2 years off. I guess we were the first big winners at the dealership because everyone, including the owner, came to congratulate us, and when we pick up the car next week they are going to take our picture to put up. Sorry this was so long, but I never, ever win anything, not even a free coffee at Timmies for roll up the rim.

    That is awesome. We may be in need of a new vehicle, we hit a deer Friday night in the middle of the CITY..yes I said it in the city and the front end is bent up pretty good. We think it will be written off and may just have to head to a GM dealership. I wonder if family of GM employees can play...hmmm..should ask my mom. Congrats on the Win!!!
