Thanks to everyone for the tips on how to store my big bag o' rice! (there were too many of you to quote or mention, so this is a blanket thanks to you all.) Based on your collective advice, I have put some in a tupperware container to use "sooner" and the rest in a food-grade pail with a tight lid for use "later". Just for my own interest, I also put some into a couple of glass sealer jars with rubber ring seals, so I can compare that method to the pail method and see if there is any difference in quality after awhile.
And I just broke out my new rice cooker (it has been packed away since I got it a couple of months ago, as I wasn't sure I wanted/needed it). We've been enjoying "fresh-cooked" rice this week - yum! Now I have a January project: to find and try some new recipes using rice!

I just started eating Soylent Green instead, very cheap and tasty.

I hated price matching for the longest time(took way to long, hated searching through flyers at the cash, would forget what I was trying to price match etc), but a friend gave me lessons on how to use the app and it's so much faster now. I literally have my price matching done in two minutes, and I'm price matching at least a third of our groceries.

I find that using the app on my phone makes this so much faster. I am also lucky as my RCSS has been know to PM even before i pull up the price especially if they know that Walmart has the better price (there are beside each other).
Friends don't let real friends pay full price.

Did not know about this ap... looks great! Thank-you buckets!!! My only concern is that sometimes I find the wifi in stores is no existent... or only works in certain areas of the store/hit and miss. Would hate to do a big ol shop only to not be able to price match it at the register. Has that happened to anyone?

Yes!! We would load flyers on IPAD and bring to the store. Cashier just price matched for my friend but then she touched my ipad and switched pages and it wouldn't go back to original page and she refused to PM my same item. Knock on wood they seem to have better cell service now.
