So I just wandered over to ThisCounts, which professes to "donate to a charity"....yet doesn't tell us which charity, so that we can confirm their contributions...They just seem like a drop-shipper for the China, Korea, etc suppliers, and among others I've found, here's an example:

The same bracelet: Aliexpress, $1.89 and free shipping

    http://www.aliexpress.com/item/Facto...a-fff8c92aabb5

    .........ThisCounts: $35!! also free shipping

    https://www.thiscounts.ca/products/URYI5571

    Personally....so far? Not buying!

    Yep. Here's another one:

    ThisCounts chain bracelet: $18.91
    https://www.thiscounts.ca/products/URSC8078

    Aliexpress: $1.24 (and I think it's nicer!)
    http://www.aliexpress.com/store/prod...050904064.html

Actually, I just ordered this in a necklace: one gold, and one silver!!
I think they were still under $3 each!

All I'm saying, is please check Aliexpress before you spend a whole lot more money at ThisCounts!!
And yes, I've shopped Aliexpress for fun jewellry and other items and have always been satisfied with my purchases. Just check out "leather bracelets" for fun and very inexpensive items!

Plus One Lynn about the Aliexpress. I am so pleased the items are beyond reasonable there. That other site doesn't stand a chance, thanks for posting.

Never heard of them, and didn't want to register so I couldn't go through their site. Checked them on FB, though.

As with all shopping, it's always shop around til you find a price you like.

Natalka, it's a very secure site; I've ordered from them many times and never had a problem. Prices are ridiculously low, free shipping....I could spend hours on there!
Quite a few of us on SC shop there...as well as some Daughters..
I've also either never received emails from them or I opted out, so I never hear from them.
Its a lovely waste of time!

^ When I posted, it was in response to the new store the thread was about.

As for the ali site - I've looked at other postings, things SCers have bought - and am jealous. I can't wear that type of jewellery, my skin turns green - but it's not a nickel allergy, just sensitive. I can get away with cheap earrings, though, for a little while - I guess because such a little part of the metal is in contact with the skin.

I've made 3 purchases on Ali Express and only one actually showed up.
One never arrived with no explanation. Refund was fast

The other one never even shipped at 3 months. Asked seller what's up they said I need to be patient. I pressed them again, they said it was lost at the border. Asked them if that was true, why the heck didn't they send a replacement. They told me that I would not go far in life if I didn't learn to be patient. No joke. This was four months after they had run off with my money.I

know ebay costs more but you have recourse
