There are also people asking $ for $ for low value coupons, or FPCs for GCs. I had a $10 GC posted awhile back and got many offers for $10 in FPCs or like $12 in low value coupons and received rude responses in return as to why I felt that was unfair.

you can trade for gift cards, thats not the issue. The issue is offering a small amount of coupons for an excessive gift card.

This is completely unacceptable and taking advantage of newbies.

If she pms you offering this type of trade please private message me. If she continues to do this she will be banned from trading. This is not what Sc is about.

Another one which REALLY got to me was thecouponqueen being very persistant in asking me for FPC`s. Seriously 3 PM`s in one week, telling me about how she was filming a pilot for a new show and needed as many FPC`s as she could find because she was planing a really big shopping trip... and had plenty of regular coupons to trade. Like come on...

LOL... I had the same thing happen. Someone wanted $20 PLUS a book of stamps (because as she said it would cost her so much postage to send them too) for 10 copies of the P&G. I was like come on... I could just go BUY the newspaper for $1.75 each.

Unfortunately if you read back a few pages quite a few people are having problems with people that have a great track record. Everyone is entitled to protect their end of the trade. I think sending half the pins is a fair deal and then receiving the second half when your end is received? That is how I have done it in the past. I have traded 80-100 pins at a time and it takes a little while to type those all out! lol

As for not using the pins however, you could be shooting yourself in the foot with that if you have already agreed to the trade for pins for coupons, they could turn around and say that yes you DID use them because they have a pm showing that they sent them to you.

Very few people have as many trades as ccmp lol. Conversely as a trader with as many trades as she has...I would be more wary of the person with a fairly low trade rating promising the rest of pins when the trade is received. How does ccmp know she will get them?!

It could also be proved the PINS weren't used if they were PM'ed to Sally the trade mod to enter, so I don't think that's an issue at all.

What is an issue is that this person could say they never got ccmp's envie and not give her the rest of the pins.

So I think her concern is a valid one.

I am a little unsure of what to do here...

I made a trade with a REALLY well known member about 4 or 5 months ago and I never received my end. They didn't come online for that whole time either. About a month ago they came online for one day offering to make up for the trade and send out a GC in hopes that I would change the neg rating I left to a positive. Needless to say they have not come back online and I have not received my replacement trade. Would I leave another rating for not getting my replacement trade or would I just write it off as a complete loss by now?

I did a trade with a novice trader on sept 15th. She has received my end. I sent her a PM on October 31st and she hasnt read it. I wrote a visitor msg on her wall and she hasnt written me bk yet. I am about done with this. If she has received my end long ago and I am waiting since September what am I to do?

Oh I agree with you but I'm just saying everyone is entitled to feel comfortable during a trade and they should be able to come up with something that works for both of them.

Littlebean PM'd me as well but when I read her about me page and saw how much she expected in return for a trade I just deleted her message.

I agree but whenI agreed to trade I said sounds great you can just PM me the pins and I will post. Then they PM me half the pins and say I will wait till I get your end???!!! I feel I am being forced to send my end to someone with a 10 rating and half are from a train. I do not feel comfortabe with that and it is not what I agreed to that is why I did not use the half the trader sent me and am not posting. The trader said "I hope you don't mind" but they did not log on or wait to see that I DO MIND!!! This is Thursday and the trader last logged in on Sunday they did not log in to see if I minded or not just assumed.
