I baked a lasagna for my 4 roommates, and also chocolate chip cookies. They both turned out amazing.

I may be making banana muffins tonight!!!

This looks really good. Did you get the recipe off the internet? I'm interested in baking it....just did one that looks similar that I got from Canadian Living called pumpkin pecan bundt cake. Have a lot of pumpkin from my garden that I froze.

in my recipe i don't use butter ,i use blend of whole wheat and white flour, so i dont feel the guilt

The last thing I baked was Apple pie, everyone loved it, and I was disappointed, I found the apples I used (royal gala) were not meant to be cooked I guess, they seem very soft and taste amazing but they didnt cook right in double the time I usually bake apple pies

I made some sugar cookies a few days ago to give out to some friends. Gave one couple a dozen and had to go back that night and bring more because the guy ate them all and left only 1 for his girlfriend!
I made as little mini sandwiches with icing in the middle this time around, worked great cause it saves the soft icing from sticking and smushing onto the other cookies!

I've been trying to make a dent in my Christmas baking this week...so far:



My fruitcake experiment...I couldn't find the recipe that my Gramma used years ago, so I cobbled together bits and bobs of various recipes I found online and in some REALLY old cookbooks. Turned out pretty good...the brandy makes everything better!



And of course, whipped shortbread...with cherries and walnuts. This is a must have round these parts this time of year.

-plain chocolate chip cookies (I have one old bachelor uncle that insists on these above all else)

-and not really baking, but also have to make and freeze cabbage rolls and pyrogies
