SDM Great Deal on Stayfree Pads

Went to SDM Today armed with 2.00 off coupons for stayfree pads. They were on sale today for 1.99 each ( maximum 4 per visit). I went back four times to by them and the fifth time the clerk woudn't take my coupons because it said "2.00 off regular priced pads". Well, at least I got 16 for free....good haul! Just a newbie, however, I am getting the swing of free or almost free merchandise.

My neice wanted to use the same coupon, told it it wont' wash at sdm here.... But she still bought them , can't go wrong with 1.99

Pmed Zellers.. and didnt even pay tax.. got 4.. tax got included in coupons because i used 10 % ..... so my total was $0 for 4 packs!!!

I haven't even tried to use those coupons because they say off the regular price .... I like to combine sales and coupons for best savings

I guess you should consider yourself lucky that the other cashiers didn't clue in.
Not sure how they could miss it though. I spotted it right away when i received the coupon.

I have the same coupons- I also haven't used them yet- because the wording says' regular price". However, I just call in to J&J monthly- i get their $2 coupon for stayfree/carefree/OB- I usually save them for when these sales come up & you still get them for free !

Try and use them. I got 6 free. The first time only got 2 because I forgot to print more. Sokay, had purchased 4 packs of Royal TP and needed to get them home and come back again for another 4. At the SDM I go to, they accept them on sales items. The second haul I had a newer cashier and she wanted to confirm... calls a manager who happened to be the cashier that served me the first time.

The thing here is they don't lose out on the coupons.... they will get their money back when they send the coupons back to the manufacturers.

The only problem with these coupons is that if you were only purchasing the Stayfree and nothing else, they will need to ring in the coupon @ $1.99 instead of $2. They can't give you the penny back; basically overage. And overage can't be used to pay part of the tax. But if you are purchasing other items... than they can ring in the coupon @ $2.

Well, the coupon does say on "regular priced" product AND one coupon per person per purchase.

Yeah, if they don't get you on one part of this wording, it is the other part. Better to phone into j and j and get their $2 coupon without any restrictions.
