I for the life of me can't come up with $500 in stuff. The most I have come up with is $200 max. This is soooooooooooo hard!!!! Who would of thought it would be this hard to spend $500 in free money?? I have all my Christmas presents done except my husband's NHL 12 PS3 game and another game for my son for PS3.
My problem which isn't everyone else's is that I don't need food. I'm not buying any food except maybe some ruffles chips and pediasure for my son. We are leaving for the states in 2 weeks to spend Christmas with my family so we will be stocking up on all of our groceries down there. The prices on most food down there compared to up here is half price. I get a 8lb thing of boneless skinless chicken breast for $10 bucks down there so I usually buy 8 of them and freeze it all.
I have a few odds and end things to finish up 3 Christmas hampers I'm making for some needy families at my son's preschool but that's not gonna cost more then $50. So I'm just at a loss of what to get.

After hopping on the GC band wagon with the bonus points I now have enough points for a 95,000 and a 30,000 mega points redemption but I don't need anything or want anything plus I have no more space in my condo to put anything...so I think I will hold onto these points and hopefully they do this again next year and I will have lots more points and possibly need something by then..HAPPY SHOPPING EVERYONE

I have enough for 4 full redemptions and 1 x 50,000 redemption (putting some on DH's card so he can shop also). I have NO problem spending $1125 at SDM. lol.
1 redemption will be supplies (baby, household)
1 redemption will be gifts for the kids (so happy they have quite a few things I was planning on buying other places)
1 remption will be on DH
1 redemption will be on me (perfume sampler and DS XL if I can get one)
last redemption will be a mix of things. small gifts for people we haven't finished, food, etc.

I don't know what to do if they sold out on electronic items, because $500 is alot to spend on household food items. I know some store sold out of electronics bc of the 2 day sales last weekend and haven't restock their inventories yet. Getting stressed out over this mega redemption. Next time I won't be greedy and redeem on bonus redemption day instead.

I'm like 7,000 points away from 95,000... so I won't be able to get the $250 :-(

I don't seem to have a problem coming up with 4 redemption lists for $250.00 each. Probably should cut down on gift giving but difficult when it's "free". Have pre-searched area stores to see who has what stock so planning lists now accordingly. Problem will be if DH decides to redeem also and he'll be 2 1/2 hours away from me this weekend; not sure I want to give him telephone help as he shops.

I did one last year and it was way too much. over 4 carts full and that was with half of it used on a camera. No idea how I am going to make it through 5 redemptions this time. Shopping is almost as bad as chinese water torture. This year even with $500 in electronics pretty sure I am going to die trying to use the rest. 1 friday night, 2 sat morning, 2 sun morning.
