Just wondering if the following is a good deal, please feel free to let me know if it is or isn't and if it isn't if you could let me know where a better deal might be, as their price match policy runs for the next 60 days.

55LW6500 (LG 3D LED TV 55 inch) and LG BD6660C (not sure he code on this one) it is the 3D Blu-Ray player that matches the TV.

Paid $1575 for the TV, and $125 for the Blu-Ray Player, with taxes, and enviro fees we walked away and paid $1898.08 TOTAL.

    Questions
    1. Is this a good deal?
    2. Have you seen this TV or Blu-Ray player cheaper elsewhere, it can be online, or in store, etc as long as it is in Canada.
    3. Would we have been better off waiting until the Boxing Day Sales?

Thanks in advance for your help, and I apologize if any of the model numbers are not exact I am for sure NOT an expert in this area.

If you are happy with the products, that's all that matters. If you asked for advice before you bought, that's one thing, but I would not feel right telling you that you could have paid less somewhere else after your purchase.

BTW, a lot of stores ie FutureShop and BestBuy have unique models of electronics that make it almost impossible to price match. You can watch the holiday flyers for deals, but some stores won't let you PM without verifying that the product is in-stock at the competitors...so those door crashers on Boxing Day may not apply.

Keep an eye open for any potential price adjustments, but most of all...enjoy your new toys.

I see your point, but we are able to return the product as it is not being opened until Christmas, so if I could get it somewhere else cheaper, I would. Know what I mean?

Also with the price matching would have to be available elsewhere, but not once you have bought the product, it is a price adjustment since they product price is lower somewhere else. I am assuming it doesnt need to be available, as we mail in the price adjustment request and get a cheque. They stated it could be anywhere in Canada, so to be obviously it doesn't need to be available to me necessarily, as I am not about to drive across 3 provinces to save a few hundred dollars. But I will mail in the pricce adjustment request and get a cheque back for the difference.

Just did a quick google, and that tv is 1598 here

Thanks the TV you linked was actually the one we went in to buy and were going to PM at BB, but then the guy upsold us to the 6500 model, (the one you linked was the 5700 model) so we think we got a deal, but sometimes when you know nothing about this kind of stuff you wonder. My husband is good with knowinng the specs, etc....and was super happy with the TV, but I deal with the numbers, and I am wanting to make sure I got the best price possible.

Okay, I understand now. You are happy with the product, you just want to know whether you got the best deal.

If this is a Christmas present, where the heck are you storing it?

Congrats on your deal...I ususally suggest buying a ps3 instead of a blu ray player...it IS a blu ray player, and media centre and streams netflix too...Oh and it plays games too
