update on Murphy
He is on IV fluids and will be in the ICU at the Emerg Clinic 2 - 4 days.
Kidney failure....but the actual cause has not been determined yet.
Possible causes....an infection? , he is 14, so older dogs more susceptible?
We still don't know much, just want them to fix him!
He will need a catheter and the drawing of his blood while there....sorry my sweet buddy!

Good morning @walkonby . I am so sorry to hear about Murphy medical issues. Just hoping that the vet can make him better and fix all the issues. He will be in my thoughts and prayers. ((((Hugs)))) will also keep you and the family in my prayers.

Back yard cleanup was done earlier today. Now having a coffee then relaxing rest of day.
@walkonby - I, of course, looked up Murphy 's diagnosis and am very hopeful that your vet's treatment is as effective as it can be! It said that he could start feeling better almost right away and can enjoy good health on into the future. Come on, Murphy's kidneys, keep up your good work! We're all rooting for you! Feel our good vibes! Take that doggie home to his mummy and dad and his buddies who are missing him! Murphy, we love you...along with your family!
