Well, finally something worked for Tootie, too.
She woke me up at about 1 with desperation in her whine. Before I could get my shoes on, she headed for the living room and started peeing. OH NO! I picked her up whereupon she continued peeing all over me - my jeans, shirt, jacket, the carpet, her bed, and the tile floor. So I hauled her outside where she seemed determined but a little unsure. Finally found JUST the right spot and accomplished the objective so I didn't have to move to a new level of intervention today. She's been alone most of the day, though. I have LOTS to do when I get home.
Got to go make supper for a bunch of family.

The housing situation is stalled, but on my part, not theirs. I'm just in such poor shape medically, that I cannot imagine planning and packing for a move.Quote:

Lynn, I have listings of accessible places, one of which home care would really like to see me in - it's a grouping of tiny houses - the other is an apt building.
But no, there is no assistance for packing or moving, one would have to search out and pay people to do that.
Where I hurt my leg yesterday, there is some crazy swelling around my knee, above it and on each side of my thigh. Geez, crap just won't stop for me!
Good thing the nurse is coming in the morning, we need a better plan.

Wow.....it's so true, though...when trying to be ever so careful about how one walks, moves, it's almost inevitable, unfortunately, that something else tweeks out of place! Rainy night last night...thunder and lighting half way through the night. Had to rush around the house closing windows since we left them all open to cool the house down!
Drive in was decent this morning.
