Thank you, @GoJays , that's interesting, I hope it doesn't increase. We went from 0-21 in just a few days....visits to Toronto, a pit party, home party....why do people think the virus has also taken a summer vacation? I'm genuinely so frightened about what's to come.Quote:

Hello friends! The severe thunderstorm warnings around here kept me home today. I had planned to visit my BrotherB and his family who are newly home from a week's holiday. Tootie is not welcome there, however, and I was afraid that I might get stuck there by warnings. They were saying that incredibly powerful storms were heading just north of us. Tornadic activity very possible.
So I stayed home, filing stuff and putting pictures in places they should be.
I ran Tootie out several times between storms. We got incredible amounts of rain and strong winds!
It's calm and cool outside but still very humid.

We've been ducking around rainstorms up here also, but it doesn't seem to make a difference here, we play cards on the kids' deck, under the canopy, with the round propane fire thing near us when it got cool, which is a welcome relief from the stifling humidity we've had lately.Quote:

Hello, everyone!
Bit cooler today, so far that makes inside more tolerable.
Nurse came this morning, a new one to me. She was great with what and how she did everything, and even made time to explain something to my husband.
So, both lower legs have wounds at the back of the shins, left has a bit at the front as well. Ick.
My husband got a call from his younger brother last night that their Mom was doing very poorly and may not make it much longer.
So, as you can imagine, husband cannot take his mind off this...
