We're taking Jenny to her vet shortly: she's had 2 seizures..one last month, another two nights ago.....scary times...

I sort of veered off of the actual recipe but my substitutions made this " omelette " turn out spectacular! The flavour is crazy!
Cranberry Rhubarb Killer Apple Cake.
Had no rhubarb or any fresh or frozen cranberries and no longer owned any large Bundt pans. Replaced the rhubarb with sliced
over ripe frozen bananas, used leftover frozen cranberry sauce that I made at Thanksgiving for the berries.
I DID had apples! hooray!! Then tossed in chopped pecans because I love a crunch. Baked in my cast iron Dutch oven pot and
for the sauce that gets drizzled over I used Grand Marnier for the flavouring.

Well, @GoJays , that dishwasher one was far too funny for no reason at all! Lol! As for the introvert one, so true…one of my late friends once said it took her 3 years to become my friend. I never understood that until much later.
Jenny’s vet, in spite of 17 tests done on her blood work, physical, piddle tests, found nothing that could be causing her seizures! That’s not all good news, her liver enzymes were slightly elevated but nothing too concerning. So she’s on vet kibble that contains triglycerides to help prevent seizures in epileptics, which she’s taken to thank goodness, mixed 25% into her Wilderness kibble so far, and a medication to give her during another episode to prevent cluster seizures that can be life-threatening.
Anyway…..just wishing we had something to grasp, but nothing, really…..
Damn cold out there again!!! More snow and wind in Toronto on Saturday when DD flies to Nashville for a conference and tours of points of interest. I hope her flights take off…..

Oh! You two and your cakes! I wanted to make muffins again for our GS and found a vintage recipe for Tomato Soup Cake! I made it, added dried cranberries and OMGOSH, delicious!!

TGIF people! I decided to start Season 1 of Ted Lasso, Never had Apple+ before so? Fantastic show, I am now at episode 2 of Season 2 BUT the best part about last night's bingeing was
I was recording the opening day Blue Jays vs Cardinals game and what a game it was! ( I FF through it and such a back and forth battle until the Jays won.
Also to my utter delight TRUMP WAS INDICTED!!!!
Good morning….yep, @WALK inby, the orange clown is back in the news. Unfortunately this indictment doesn’t prevent him from running or becoming president again. It just gives the narcissist a new platform to whine about. And Pence, who dump didn’t care lived or died, who ran for his life during the attack on the White House, is supporting him?! I get it…HE wants to become president, so going against dump means he’ll lose those supporters! Kiss whoever’s butt is in your face politics!

So, DD’s flight outta here in the morning may not happen with the snowstorm approaching, which means she’ll miss her Nashville flight….unless AC declares it a weather cancellation, in which case both her flights will be re-scheduled. What a cluster-flip. Why Mothers worry. Sigh.
I read this somewhere and it’s so true: If you think worrying about your children is difficult, wait until they’re adults: that’s when your knees really hit the pavement!

@walkonby We are all caught up with Ted Lasso, it didn't take long to binge it. What a great show, eh? So funny. Big changes in season 3 though!
