Not sure where to post this. I was at a local RCSS this morning to do a price match. The cashier told me they only price match major grocery stores now and that excludes stores like giant tiger. There's also a square sticker by the cash register with the store names that they pm- this is new to me.
They switched at the end of last year, or so. I've lodged several complaints and suggest that others do the same. The only way they will change is if enough complaints pile up. It has happened in the past; RCSS tried the same restrictive policy of only matching Sav-On, Frills, Sobeys, and Walmart only to rescind it due to the volume of customer complaints. (I was told this by their own service staff.) We can only hope that they will do it, again. No indication of them doing it, yet.Quote:
