@GoJays the earlier bird and the others too when they will wake up hahaha good morning and have a good monday!!! :)
@flemeth : good morning to you !!! :)
@Lynn49 Comedian Ron White used to have a bit about tornadoes and hurricanes in his stage act....he said " it's not IF the wind is blowing, it's WHAT the wind is blowing " . You said it about the possibility of trees being toppled....and hurled? Maybe not, but why chance it.
Did a small bit of cat maintenance early, the usual litter, morning wet slop doled out. However, once I opened the 7.5 kg bag of dry cat food that I bought a few weeks back, I needed to store most of it in the largest air tight containers possible. Lucky me! I found 2 perfect tubs in DD's room that she had left behind. They are mine now..lol
good morning folks.
Well that was quite the storm here and for our DD on the island! Wow!
Her "major" problem, when she lost power in their trailer was getting down from her recliner, lol! I was relieved when it went on at 11pm last night. She'll check on any damage at our trailer, but she feels that the 1 hr of that storm didn't bring down any trees, just branches.
All sunny here and there today, such a difference from last evening!
Take care, everyone, we're all so blessed not having to deal with what those poor people in Louisiana are facing.
That was the real threat, @walkonby ; we're surrounded by trees in our campground and there was a good possibility of them falling on our trailers. Of course our DD said: Oh well...new trailer! How did I NOT teach her about how to worry?!! Lol!!
About those bags of dry food...we shop at Ren's pet store as much as possible, but Jenny's dry food there comes in huge bags that'll take her months to go through! And as you know, it can get rancid eventually. I think I'll email them and ask why, of all the dry food they carry, does her food come in such large bags. No harm in asking. I'd rather support a local shop.
Gorgeous day, but I've really let this paperwork go wild here...mostly patterns, recipes that have to find new homes rather than in 'my' computer desk drawer. Honestly, they were about 8" high! Of course laundry from the weekend...non-stop here except that with my fatigue issue, I do have to stop which is why I'm here right now. Haha!
Enjoy the day, everyone!!
Hi, peeps!
I am on a hotspot with my son's phone right now, so I don't have much time. I am amazed this can be done at all - I am getting internet on my tablet through his phone.
No internet since Saturday night. Last night son came, couldn't figure out why was on the phone waiting for the cable company for almost two hours til I told him to just stop. He came over here after work, got on to tech support after 10 mins, they checked things out for a half hour, couldn't find the problem. We are getting someone in tomorrow aft, maybe a modem issue.
So, I can live without internet, but it's pretty boring since it's my lifeline to sanity a lot of the time because I can't get out.
Got an alarming email from my home care coordinator, sounds like I am being cut loose. I will have alot to deal with. Past the crying, I have to adjust my headspace to this, and my confined life - such that it is, will be very different a d a million times more difficult.
Thanks for listening.
Hoping you are all well!
Oh no @Natalka ! Why would they do that to you? I'm so sorry to hear that. Why would they do that?
Good ,owning @GoJays
Good morning everyone!
Hi ladies! I am so confused as to why home health care is being yanked from Natalka? In what way is this right?
I hope you can get someone to fight for you @Natalka
