Good aft, everyone.
Son's surgery went well, now he just has to deal with the recovery. My husband will stay at his place with him overnight, since his housemates are away.

@Lynn49 - what a gorgeous day. I could handle every day like this. Unfortunately, I didn't take a break all day. Was pruning trees all day - you have to take advantage of the sun when you can. Now, I'm so very sore and tired.
I don't BBQ very much, I not too good at it, but had my 1st one of the season tonight. It was delicious. Salmon, baked potatoes, and veggies.
This morning when I listened to the news, they were talking about rain tomorrow - again. I haven't listened since, but I hope they're wrong.

@Natalka , the relief you felt when you heard Milan's surgery went well must have been enormous! No matter what our kids go through, big or small, we fret. Happy to hear it all turned out well!
@GoodBoy ...oh my goodness that mouse is the epitome of bliss!! I personally believe we have a lot to learn from our fellow critters....right, @avoncallingu ? ;)
Well, on the road again, this time to Ajax to my niece's little one's 1st b'day...shopping a Tanger mall on the way, probably Vaughan Mills also, although a mall's a mall, but there are two or three shops I like to visit there. The b'day bbq is tomorrow at 1pm, prezzies are packed from us and the kids, we'll stay for a while then drive home. Jenny will be staying with her favourite relation, our SIL and our DD....:) Our GS will be thrilled to have a pup staying with them for a couple of days.
