A lovely evening, and yes, @walkonby , steaks Oscar (each had different steaks but both topped with scallops and shrimp in a cream sauce), appetizers, dessert…definitely not a diet day! and thank you for that sweet video, Walks!
Tgeres an actual SUN in the sky this morning! And blue patches! Maybe Ruth at rain helped relieve us of some of that smoke smog! Or….it just moved to Spain, like our kids want to do when they retire! Lol!

Good morning early birdies! Your anniversary dinner sounded delightful @Lynn49 . I've never heard of Steaks Oscar before? but am open to almost ALL forms of beef so I'd probably like it. Btw, who or what caused you to get out of bed so early? I should talk eh? Almost the end of the week! lol, sort of, just 2 more working days for my guys.
With Friday and Monday off it spells l-o-n-g w-e-e-k-e-n-d for them. Now if it rains for all 4 days OR there is unbearable smoke in the air I will be lodging a formal complaint.

Life continues on in the Shwa...DW is on holidays this week so I'm keeping a low profile(so far,so good! today at least!)
Thankful the humidity from last week is gone,traded for smoke instead.Body is telling me type no more so I must go.

Our steaks Oscar were not named after the steer, lol, nor did it have any crab. Even better: scallops and shrimp in a hollandaise sauce. All beautifully cooked for a restaurant just a cut above fast food, lol!
Off to camp today for 10 days! Let’s see how long it’ll take for me to get bored. Maybe tired is a better word. Seems there’s an expectation to be ‘out there’, while I need time to recuperate from the time I do spend out there. I’ll just have to be more assertive and not push myself so I can get the rest I need.
