Seems our later years revolve around doctors' appointments, @walkonby! We're off this afternoon to visit out GP, for Hubby's follow-up questions and my...um...not too sure, nothing is terribly wrong at the moment. Things can change in an instant, but I sure hope not!!
Wrt Rodgers' shredded achilles tendon in his ankle, @walkonby, yep, it'll be season ending without him even making ONE toss this first game of the season at home!! I want to say "serves him right for leaving the Pack", but I won't. I'm a better person than that. But it's amazing how karma can work its way through something so quickly. I didn't say that, either.
A dull day, dr's appt, then groceries, but nothing major. We're both still so tired and stressed from what happened to my Hubby...I hope we can catch up on rest soon. Thank goodness this all happened at the end of camping season: no more travelling!

when you rise late in the a.m. the day disappears! Up at 7:30 which was kind of late for me so now the chores I intended to start get pushed back. There's always tomorrow.
Welcome back @Lynn49 good to see you back but sorry for all that DH and you have been going through but thankful he's on the mend. It's like I often say getting older is not for Sissies!
I've found this week a lot more comfortable without that humidity but I'm not certain if time to take AC out of window cuz you never know nowadays.
The leaves in some places are ever so slowly starting to change here.So beautiful with the sunshine but they also standout on cloudy days.
I hear you @walkonby about pushed back chores, I have plenty myself but I'm on here instead! My problem is that you no sooner finish doing something then it's needing doing again. First world problems so I'm not doing too bad at all.

Aw, thank you, @Skippy . We get to an age where it feels as if we no sooner put out an ember, before another one starts. The trick is keeping ahead of it all and not letting those embers turn into fires. The other trick is finding those embers at all! After bloodwork, I find myself now taking a third pill, this one for cholesterol! Not that it’s high, but it did change, so “we want to keep it where it is”, and give myself a 30% less chance of a heart attack or stroke. Fine. I’ll take it. Stomped on that ember!! Lol!Quote:

No more going to camp but still…on days like this it would sure be wonderful to be there. DD is there, has to meet with a client on the island tomorrow, then ‘her boys’ will arrive after work/school tomorrow. Sigh….weren’t we supposed to be teleporting by now?!
